1070.6
1070.6 - that's how many kilometres I've ridden on my bike since I got my odometer last summer, and remembered to turn the little thing on. It doesn't work when it's raining, and I accidentally reset the whole bike computer once, so I've actually covered more distance than that. I'm aiming to hit 2500 before the end of October, so I'm well on my way!
But you're not here for the cycling, are you? I figured as much. You've stopped by to see if either Denise or I actually knit anything anymore. Well, here you go -
I finished my Koigu socks a while back

I haven't had a chance to wear them yet (thank goodness!) but I'm feeling the Koigu love.
In my seemingly constant state of sock knitting, I had been lusting after a particular book of patterns. Guess what Richard got me for my birthday?

He's a keeper, that's for sure. I'll knit him all the socks he wants!

Tomorrow (or Wednesday, I haven't decided yet) I'll give you the latest update on my training. I found a new place north of Toronto, a little lake that's been there all along and I had no idea!
